Rubby
It's not fun to have horribly vivid memories since birth.
A short comic of a slow burning trip down memory lane of intergenerational trauma in the eyes of a child: Rubby is a take on motherhood, and how a child's parentification leaves them with not only painful memories but also a fragmented sense of identity.
What will you make of today's rumination?
Slow, tender, but gritty.
