Excerpt from Rubby, a short comic on integenerational trauma from the eyes of a child, and figuring out life after parentification.

This is a double page spread in the book which I titled "Young Blackened Heart", as a visual of what it feels like to consciously realize the feeling of harboring pain and anxiety at a young age.

Made using ink and pencil on A3 Canson Sketching Paper; digitally scanned then printed.
