Heart of Davy Jones Sticker

I once wrote a very juvenile poem called My Heart is out at Sea. I think about that once in a while. I wrote it when I was young and in love.

That relationship did not last. As time passes your hearts morphs and molds. With enough beatings (whether lovely or in other ways), it changes and it becomes like concrete during August where the rain doesn't stop: filled with algae and is wet and slippery. You end up having to tread carefully now

...and innocence is gone.
