Pyrexia Print
Pyrexia is the medical term for fever.
Often when I have one, I take cold showers to help cool down my body temperature. In this piece, I used sigilism as a sort of allegory to fever delirium, which is often my symptom in early stages. I would look up praying to God my fever ends, as fevers are often debilitating to me.
I remember of one fever I had when I was young: I woke up trying to walk to the bathroom only to fall to the floor due to extreme dizziness. I crawled myself to the bathroom, slamming my body left and right trying to get a hold of myself. I could feel the heat in my eyes, and it circling down my neck. Sometimes I get migraines during my fevers as well.
Made using Procreate.
